Having moved to Portland, OR in early 2015, I was finding the job market a little overwhelming. I had a notion that I wanted to move into Healthcare Administration. Abbott and Associates made this happen for me. From my very first contact I was impressed with Abbott’s efficiency, willingness to help, and understanding of my personal situation. I was especially interested in working at a local teaching hospital, and Abbott’s set me up with a bunch of interviews in rapid succession. I eventually secured a temporary position at a local teaching hospital, which has now turned in to permanent, full-time position. Staffing Assistant
Madison recently joined the Abbott team in May of 2022 as their Staffing Assistant. She has a background in retail/customer service, administration and project coordination and loves to hone new skill sets and continuously strives to be better and help others each day. Madison has a BA in Liberal Studies with minors in Social Studies and English from California State University, Chico. She believes strongly in providing equal opportunities and helping people to reach their full potential.
Fun Fact: Madison loves being outside. She loves camping, kayaking, hiking, floating and especially walking her 3 year old Golden Retriever, Rosie!
Favorite Food: San Diego raised her to love Mexican food, but she loves anything barbecued!
Favorite Hobby: Madison loves to go on nature walks and identify plants. Flower identification is by far her favorite, though.
